Is it hard for you to sleep at night because your mind is racing and you feel restless?  It may be insomnia. Maybe you have been dealing with it for a long time.  Have you tried different medications and still are not able to find relief? You may have seen a doctor or tried medications to help but still cannot find relief.  Why not try hypnosis for insomnia

If you suffer from insomnia you may be affected both physically and mentally.  When you suffer because of lack of sleep your body doesn’t function the way it should.  Insomnia is caused by different things such as stress or anxiety, something frightening or depressing going in on your life, a medical disorder of some kind, or even external things such as dogs barking, a snoring partner, a hot or cold room, etc. Whatever the reason may be, don’t rule out hypnosis for insomnia.

A couple types of insomnia are listed below:

Adrenal Imbalance – An adrenal imbalance can cause you to feel tired one minute and very awake the next. You may feel completely exhausted but still cannot fall asleep.  Or you may fall asleep only to wake up shortly after and you feel fully awake.  This may cause you to have very low energy throughout the day and then get a second wind right before bed.

Hormonal Imbalance – If you have symptoms of hormonal imbalance such as mood swings, irritability, or physical changes you may have insomnia and hormonal imbalance.  This could be caused if you are in menopause or have PMS.  It may also cause night sweats and other physical symptoms that cause you to not be able to sleep.

A hypnotherapist can help you with your insomnia.  They will be able to teach you tips for self hypnosis and then you will never have trouble sleeping again.  Hypnosis for insomnia in combination with bed time rituals, such as turning off the tv a half hour before sleep, listening to a relaxing song, etc. will work great for you. Self hypnosis uses relaxation and other suggestive methods to help you sleep and stay asleep. Some examples of suggestions given during self hypnosis are relaxing your muscles, counting down and imagining yourself descending from a high point to a lower one.

While you sleep a lot occurs in your body.  This is the time the body regenerates.  If you are losing sleep you are prone to anxiety, depression, even obesity so the importance of a good night’s sleep is indisputable.  Try hypnosis for insomnia and sleep peacefully once and for all.

Good article. I use to have insomnia so i know how it really can effect your produictivity during the day at work. Reading a book an hour before going to bed helps relax you. Drinking some tea an hour before going to bed also relaxes you. You don't want to do anything that hightens your senses, ike watching tv or being on the computer. Thanks for the tips.
